450MT | Skid plate with Grid

This specially designed and durable skid plate is made from a 4 mm thick aluminum sheet, reinforced with steel and joined using stainless steel rivets to provide maximum protection for your motorcycle. The construction is complemented by a stylish protective grille that also ensures sufficient airflow for proper engine cooling.

The design is based on real expedition experience. We deliberately moved away from welded joints after a weld once failed during an expedition. Instead, we chose a combination of aluminum, steel reinforcement, and stainless steel rivets, which provides high strength while allowing easy field repair.

If you take a really hard hit and a rivet shears off, the skid plate can still be reshaped in the field — even with a rock — and the rivet can be easily replaced with a standard bolt. Anyone who has ever torn a welded skid plate on an expedition knows exactly what we mean.

Our skid plate offers significantly improved protection for your CFMOTO and allows you to confidently overcome obstacles not only on the road, but also in demanding off-road conditions 😉.
