This specially designed and reinforced skid plate is laser-cut from a 4 mm thick aluminum alloy sheet and strengthened with steel reinforcements. Individual parts are joined using stainless steel rivets, significantly increasing the overall strength and durability of the skid plate. The new design with a protective grille was developed with a strong focus on maximum protection in demanding off-road conditions.
If you take a really hard hit and a rivet shears off, the skid plate can still be reshaped in the field — even with a rock — and the rivet can be replaced with a standard bolt. Anyone who has ever torn a welded skid plate during an expedition knows exactly what we’re talking about.
Our skid plate provides your CFMOTO with significantly better protection and allows you to confidently overcome obstacles not only on the road, but also in tougher off-road terrain 😉.
